As one of the largest academically-affiliated health networks in Ontario, we have the high patient volume and diversity in all its forms for meaningful research. We also have the skilled clinicians to conduct that research. Most importantly, we have a track record of award-winning innovation in care.

Investing in Tomorrow’s Physicians

For students of the Mississauga Academy of Medicine, a partnership with Trillium Health Partners, the University of Toronto Mississauga and the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Medicine, the new Medical Education Centre will procide a rich learning experience with classrooms with advanced digital teaching tools, resident on-call rooms, and a skills centre with physical examination and observation rooms. Our medical students will receive an outstanding education by blending academics with hands-on training in a high volume community setting.

Scholarships and bursaries play an important role in encouraging, energizing and motivating our staff who strive for peak performance “on the front lines of care”.

Giving 110% will support the completion of the Medical Education Centre which will help us train more highly skilled physicians and specialists in our community. It will also create fellowships, bursaries and awards for staff who go above and beyond, and wish to pursue studies that will enhance their work at the hospital.
