Join us for our 21st annual Pro-Am Golf Tournament at the prestigious Mississaugua Golf & Country Club. Tee-up with the pros, lunch on the green and dine with us in support of life-saving cardiovascular care at Trillium Health Partners. The tournament is limited to 25 teams, each joined by a professional golfer.

Pro-Am supports the upgrade of essential equipment, acquisition of the latest technology and implementation of innovative initiatives at the Hazel McCallion Centre for Heart Health.

Exciting progress is taking place
We recently revitalized our Cardiac Short Stay Unit, doubling its capacity, and moved it next to our Cath Lab. This year we will be integrating our complex vascular surgery service into the cardiac program – a very exciting development! Your support of cardiac care at Trillium helps make this a reality.
Each year, one heart attack occurs every 7 minutes in Canada –
and most of them occur close to home.
Our Cath Lab is the only facility in the Toronto-Hamilton corridor able to provide 24/7 life-saving coronary care. The gold standard is angioplasty, where a “balloon catheter” and stent opens the blocked, major artery, restoring blood flow and speeding recovery time.
State-of-the-art equipment and our cardiology pros play a key role in providing Trillium’s Code STEMI service, where EMS paramedics diagnose an elevated heart attack and rush the patient directly to the Cath Lab. Our STEMI service times are among the fastest in North America!

Today, thanks in large part to the generous support of our community, patients identified as Code STEMI in any emergency room region-wide, are brought directly to Trillium’s Cath Lab. That’s Giving 110%!
