More about Monthly Giving

Monthly donations from Friends of Trillium help us provide the hospitals with reliable funding for many priority needs.  For example, we count on your steady support to purchase equipment and medical apparatus that might otherwise not be feasible, since the provincial government provides only so much.

 
There are over 550 Friends of Trillium whose gifts add up to over $10,000 each month.  That’s funding that would not exist without your generous commitment.  With many Friends, more is possible.  Every gift counts and alongside hundreds of others who care about their Health Centre, you help provide the tools, technology and facilities that enable our clinical teams to deliver the best quality care, all year long.

When you become a member of Friends of Trillium, you will receive your “Tribute” newsletter twice a year, filled with information and stories to keep you up to date on Foundation activities and the impact of your gifts.  

 
Monthly gifts add up!  Many donors tell us that they are surprised how much more substantial a gift they are actually able to give to Trillium when they spread their giving over 12 months.  That’s good sense in any economy and even more so when times are tight.  What’s important is that you give in a way that suits you best.
 
For the Foundation, monthly gifts allow us to commit to projects – when we can predict specific revenue we can plan how to allocate it more strategically.

It is easy to join Friends of Trillium online!  When you select ‘Donate now’, under “Method of Payment”, select ‘monthly payments credit card’, then choose how much you would like to donate each month.  Once completed, your online request will result in automatic withdrawals from your credit card account.  You can be totally confident that all financial transactions are secure – our service provider is fully certified and widely used across the continent.

If you prefer to donate monthly by pre-authorized withdrawals from your bank account, please complete the printer friendly donation form (pdf).  Tell us how much you would like to donate each month and enclose a void cheque.  You may also send us post-dated cheques.
